This thread is for weird things you've come across on the net. Maybe they're hoaxes, maybe they're not. "Dear God Please Help me"His name is Steve and he's trapped. To make things worse, apparantly he's being stalked by creatures that want to eat him (and have already devoured his best friend)! It's all a big hoax, but it was an entertaining minute or two.Fiji MermaidThis really disturbed me mainly because I don't know if it's fake or not. In any case, it's best for you to just look and see for yourself. OKCGC/PRG Research CamA site with eight webcams set up in an old abandoned, and some say haunted, hospital. They invite you to watch the cameras and check for any odd occurances. This is a huge "do you believe ghosts exist or not?" site. Whether or not you do believe or not, check out their gallery filled with 7 pages of odd things people have noticed about this abandoned hospital. It's..interesting..to say the least.

First one doesn't work for me, says the site has been frozen.
Hmm.. I'm not sure if it is or not, looks real. But of course, you never now though.
On the third one, it probably could be haunted. I know some of them could easily be photoshopped though, but yeah, it is interesting seeing some of those pictures.

Site number one doesn't exist. Site number two, those are the ugliest statues I've seen. Site number three, I don't want to check that; I don't want to waste my precious precious sleep by seeing pictures that will leave me... uh... wondering. And since this thread is for Odd Things on the Net, How's this?

#1. I think this link got killed when it got posted on one of those really popular "strange sites" type of pages. It might be up in a few days from now after the initial mass of clickers are finished with it. Andy saw it though. We both agree that it's funny but unrealistic. #2. I think that's a statue that was made to reflect upon something an explorer found. However, I don't know if the whole backstory behind the statue (i.e. what it's based on) is true or false. -- Edit: It's fake. Thanks Wikipedia! Had me going there for a little bit though. #3. Kuro, MPR is scarier than anything you'll find on this site. As for whether or not they're faked.. I don't know. Yeah, they're blurry but if you watch the cameras for yourself you'll see what the rooms are suppose to look like at all times of the day then you look at some of the gallery pics and there's definantly variations. What are the odds that there's 7 pages of people using photoshop to change or add things? Besides, if you think they're false you can watch the cameras for yourself and see things for yourself.

I suppose. Anyway, here's more weird things I found on the net. Varginha IncidentBelieve in aliens? This one's for you. Apparantly a lot of people saw strange brown creatures that smelt bad, had red eyes and were wobbly. Several showed up and the military got involved. One guy died and was burried right away (with no time for a funeral) as a matter of national security. As usual, people denied it happened but there has been very little to try and explain what happened (i.e. a cover story). Instead they mostly just flat-out deny it, even though many creatures were seen and even more people saw military involvement. Read the URL for the short version or you can click here or here to read more about it (second link has drawings of what the creatures looked like based on reports). Tales of the Mongolian Death WormInformation on a worm that can supposedly kill upon contact, spits poison and lives in the Gobi desert. Some cryptzoologists debate whether or not it exists or, if it does, what it is (is it a snake? a worm? some new species?). I like the last line of that article though. "Admittedly, any animal that can instantly kill anyone who tries to observe it would stand a good chance at escaping scientific classification. " Another article about the Death Worm here
