So last night I went to bed "early" (to me anyway) but ended up having problems sleeping. While rolling I turned and faced something I hadn't noticed before: a gigantic shape that was on my closet door (a light). It looked very much like a triangle (with the base touching the ceiling) except in the middle there was a short straight up-and-down line. Outside of the triangle area you could still see the closet doors but in the triangle area it was rather dark/shaded.

In other words, it looked like this except not so poorly done, gigantic and was on my closet.
I began to wonder WHAT was casting that light shadow so I got out of bed (I wasn't that tired anyway) and began looking for it. Because I have so many electronics in my room I first thought maybe it was that. So I began to cover up the various lights I could see. Hmm. That didn't affect it. Okay, fine. I thought then that it was probably from outside being projected in. So then I opened the shades completely, figuring it would let in more light and thus the shape would be disfigured/change/otherwise not be the same. I figured wrong. It stayed exactly the same. So I closed the shades and stood in front of the window to block all the light I could. This time, I was assuming, it would definantly change/be blocked/change/at least show MY shadow on the wall. Nope. Again, didn't change. Then I started thinking about it..outside is the roof of the other house.. kind of anyway.. but even if that was being projected into the room, (#1) it wouldn't be an upside down triangle with a nose-looking line thing and (#2) my TV and my monitor would block it and change what it looked like (both would block light in where the shape was being projected).
For the heck of it, I did try to take a picture (in the dark, no flash). Obviously it didn't come out. They never do.
I don't know what it was. It wasn't really scary, just interesting. I'd like to know what is projecting that light onto my closet door though.
