I would be supprised to find out that there is a single person on this board that has yet to read Ender's Game, by Orson Scott Card. Now this is no review just something that I learned about today.
Basically since I read Ender's Game I have wanted to see it in a movie, so much so that I have started doing research on how to make a screenplay and started to adapt the book.
Now today I was talking to a friend (vocaly, wierd isn't it lol ) and he told me that it was already in Pre-production!
Now the biggest problem with the book is going to be casting. You need a young actor that has the presence of Ender, something that I don't know if it could ever be faked aka acted. Not to mention that the book is like what 80% internal narritive... how do you film that?
Man as much as I would love to see this book as a movie, I think it is going to end up worse that Electra, DD, and Hellboy combined!
I am scared, scared to see a classic get thrashed.

I never did read that book. I should some day.
But yes, I have a feeling the movie won't be anywhere near as good as the book. That seems to be the case 99.9% of the time.

I've never even heard of that book..
by the way, I agree with you on Elektra, but Hellboy and Dare devil were good if you ask me.

I've heard of it, but never got a chance to read it. Maybe next time I'm in the bookstore I'll get it.

I have officially finished this book! I forgot there was a post on here about it. I guess I should have bumped it when I finished it. =P
It was, surprisingly, a very good book. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

Nice job, Iyou. But yes, Ender's Game is a good book. And the other books in the series are just as good. Might want to read Ender's Shadow, it focuses on Bean's part of the story.
