Okay, so, there's no Fable threads here. And fable is a pretty good game. I mean, I've beaten it around 6 times and I'm still not tired of it.
The Story:
You start out in a small little town. And everything is "peachy" until some bandits raid your town and kill off everyone while you manage to hide not so far away. And as most games go, everyone is dead and your sister has disappeared. After examining the massive carnage and flames, you come across your dead father. Not that long after wards, a mage from the local guild finds you and takes you away to begin training. And thus begins your epic journey.
Graphics:
These are pretty nice. The only major flaw with the graphics I saw were how the hands and feet were way out of proportion with the body. Also, you got the occasional glitch where a person's head would be half gone, completely gone, or the occasional different color.
Game play:
It was good. The controls were simple (for the Xbox, I'm not real sure about PC) It has a great plot with twists and turns in it. Like, someone you thought to be a friend turns against you, vice versa. On my first time playing, it kept me occupied. Also, it has a wide variety of weapons, armor, and clothing.
Good vs. Evil:
This is one of the things I liked more about this game. Different deeds you do decide how you live your life and how people will respect (or fear) you. Personally, I think it is more fun to become evil. Its easy to get experience, it's fun to make people cower before your feet, and not to mention, you get these bad-ass horns. The only downsides to being evil is that it's harder to get money from selling stuff, the merchants rip you off, and you get these annoying flies that buzz around your head like you're some kind of dead carcass or something. Also, you do leave red, foggy footsteps everywhere you go. But those aren't that bad, as long as you don't have to stand still.
Being good has its ups and downs as well, when you're good people fall in love with you left and right, merchants practically beg you to buy their stuff, and you get these piercing blue eyes that really amazed me when I played. The bad things about being good are that it makes the game a little more difficult to level up, because you can't go around from town to town slaughtering everyone inside and still be considered "good". As if the flies weren't bad enough, when you're good you get these annoying butterflies that flutter about.
My suggestion on the game is to go neutral.
Music:
The music was lacking severely in my opinion. It is not the music you want to listen to when you're hacking away at a bandit, or maybe even a town citizen. I found myself playing whatever else I could find other than listening to the melodic tunes that the makers of Fable provided for our gaming "pleasure".
My personal opinion:
Overall; it was, and still is a great game. Although it has an ending, the game never really ends. I often find myself going back to my original file and wreaking havoc on an unsuspecting town/bandit camp.
