As we all know, lately it seems that nothing can exist without a sequel, when I die, I wouldn't be surprised if Andy 2 comes along. (after all I am a sequel, the 3rd DLA ) Anyhow, back to the point, What Video Game Sequels are you most excited about?
For me its Onimusha and Metal Gear, can't wait for FF12 either, although 11 can just jump off a cliff for all I care. Also, nothing beats new fighters, SNK vs Capcom, New KOF realeases.. etc..

what's so bad about FF11? I havent played it, but according to several webcomics the rabbits are pretty vicious...
About fighters, they should make a new killer instinct, I know its pretty impossible cuz Rare was bought by X box... but just Imagine the glory!
Another FF tactics for gameboy would be good, the story in the first one was riddiculously synthetic.

Hmm...Xenosaga Episode 2, Metal Gear, FF12, Metroid Prime 2, and others I'm forgetting.
I still need to get the KoF 2000/2001 double thing (or whatever numbers it is), and SNK vs Capcom: Chaos or whatever looks nice. Also, the new Mortal Kombat looks interesting as well.
Yeah, a new Killer Instict would be cool, but I don't know what Rare is up to after they got bought by X-Box. Hmm.

What's KoF? another seaquel they (I) need is Stunt Race. Sure the first one had a crappy frame rate, crappy controls (but you do get used to them after a while) and a poor selection of tracks and cars. a sequel is all they need to bounce this baby to the top! It would be like mario cart ( wait I think its kart...) without tyering the déja-vù feeling.

I've heard about Stunt Race, but I've never played the game before.

you've gotta try stunt race, Its a classic!
I'm still curious about FF11 though, is it really that bad, I can imagine it can get bad if you're stuck with a bunch of retards in your party, but wat else can go wrong?

Hmm.. I don't know. I haven't played FF 11, so I'm not going to pass judgement on it, but I'm not sure if I will play it anytime in the future though since I usually don't play online games.

Problems with FFXI:
Just like you said, you play with a bunch of retards.
secondly, you have about 6 choices as far as character customization goes.
Okay, so the way it goes, if you're an online gamer, then you will more than likely love it for some unknown reason. (I know I love to pay money on a monthly basis to play a game that more often than not offers boredom, bland characters, and enemies that even after you level up a good bit can still kick your ass. I've seen a measly rabbit stomp people that had been playing for weeks.) Anyhow, for those of us used to the traditional Final Fantasy experience, it is not worthwhile in the least, it doesn't offer a branching intriguing story, it doesn't offer well done FMV, it doesn't offer interesting characters, it's like they took everything that is Final Fantasy and took it all away. Sure, you have moogles and Chocobos, little magical midgets but that's about as FF as it gets, and that sucks. Oh you have the cardgame from FF9. Don't forget that. Whoopee.

Well, FFXI is a lot like any other MMORPG. I've played UO (Ultima Online), RO (Ragnarok Online) and now I'm playing around with Mix Master (a lot like Robotrek on the SNES) and they all seem to have a very common denominator: You must have friends in order to enjoy the game. UO is massive. You can even build your own house in the game to store your goods. The world is gigantic and it would take hours to walk from one end to the other. There's tons of stuff to do..ranging from hunting monsters, mining, chopping trees...etc. etc. etc. However, ALL OF THIS gets extremely boring when you don't have a party (of friends) to go do things with. RO is a lot more primitive than UO but the result is the same. Without friends, you spend all your time just killing monsters or sitting around doing nothing. FFXI would be the same way, I can imagine. Sure you've got a huge world to explore, and lots of neat monsters to fight, huge towns to hang around in..but without friends it boils down to a pointless boring game. These games wouldn't be so bad if, say, the entire lunch-gumi and all our friends were on there at the same time playing. Trust me. RO was great when most of #DBZRPG was on there playing.

I used to play Ragnarok, when it was free... that was way back.... UO sounds pretty good, that is if you can visit other peoples houses and accedently slip a few swords undr your coat (whooptidoo!)
As for sequels megaman zero 3 is comming out. I hope they make it more 'free roaming' like the first one.
