Who knew that such a small device could be so fun?
Im sure men the world over have said that numerous times, but moving on with the review...
Until recently I was content with my sad little 256mg RCA Lyra MP3 player, and now (Thanks to the wonders of christmas shopping) I have seen the light and want an I-pod nano. Other than being pretty, and small and nigh indestructible, it can hold TONS of freakin music. We put 11 cds worth on it and barley made a dent in the space. Not only that it has nifty little games (and apparentally you can download more.) You can also put pictures on it and have little mini slideshows (with music!) plus several other functions (the quiz function, calendar, alarm etc.) that make it worth the price you pay (cough cough $200 cough die die) That and I found out there were black ones.. BLACK ONES!! I waaaaaaant!! Gimme gimme gimme!!
Game Boy Micro
Having had the advance, and later the DS, I saw no real point in getting a micro.. that was until recently, when I saw the 20th anniversary edition that was Dark red, and cheaply priced ($40 instead of 100) that I cared a bit. Having succumbed to its prettiness and affordability, It was time to play.
The sound wasn't too great. You can barely hear the thing unless you use headphones, but thats not much different than PSP or DS. so.. It is smaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall.. and pretty. and shiny.. the backlit screen is nifty.. droooool... and even though it only plays Advance games, meh. I never play them on my DS anyway, and I sure as hell needed another advance since mine toasted to a crisp and had no backlight. (plus now I can play Zelda and not be blinded having to squint at the dark screen!)
ok.. So I like small shiny expensive things..
Yay for both!
