I never did comment in this topic, did I? Oops. Uhh..favorite books? Well, more recently, I enjoyed Blood and Gold, but through all time.. I have to say my favorite book series would have to be The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Those novels are funny, witty, and just plain goofy. As for J.R.R. Tolkein's works, I prefer The Hobbit but that's probably because it's slightly easier to read (not as much history to bog it down) plus it's faster paced. In addition it was the first of the series I read. But the others aren't bad either. They're just a little harder to get through because it's so full of history and songs and what-not. Plus there's a whole lot of characters that you have to follow whereas in The Hobbit it's mostly just Bilbo.

I read the Hobbit and it was okay though I never read Lord of the Rings.
My favorite books include a couple different genres. of "horror" books I like Ann Rice though you couldn't say they're really Horror.. of her witch series I think I like Taltos the best and of her vampire series I think... oo well funniest was Tale of the Body Theif
Under Fantasy/history I like the Harry Potter series and my favorite amond those is The Goblet of fire (4th book)
I recently read this Book called Eragon and is sequal Eldest and I reccomend it to anyone who liked Lord of the Rings and/or Star Wars. James read it and he liked it.. The first one was admittingly predictable but the second Rocks!! it's Epic!!
